Even from a young age, I have always been fascinated with science. Especially things like light and Wormholes. You probable already know that a Wormhole got its name because its gravity is so strong that its escape velocity is greater than the speed of light. Meaning, it appears dark in the visible spectrum because light cannot escape it.
This book follows a bright young scientist named Elise, the name taken from my eldest daughters’ middle name, who discovers a wormhole and ultimately discovers a way to stabilize it. This allows her to view other solar systems, and even other planets. She notices an asteroid on a collision course with another world, and faces the ethical dilemma of whether to intervene. Remember the Prime Directive in Star Trek?
But wait there is a twist, one you probably didn’t see coming. What is that twist? I guess you’ll just have to find that out for yourself won’t you. I bet you though, you probably didn’t see this one coming. So, enjoy!
Incidentally, each of the main characters in this book take on the names of my three children. Ryan Evan, Brianne Elise, and Tracy Elaine.
Have Fun!
